Based on Lyne Marshall’s books, the struggle, the invisible layers and the creative spiral…These are workshop seminars you shouldn’t miss …Hideaway Art Farm is about 20 minutes inland from Noosa on the Sunshine Coast and perfect for the outdoor exercise we do on the second afternoon ‘getting in touch with the senses’. Tree Frog Gallery is in a delightful area of Maleny.
Move outside your current boundaries and understand the creative process at a deeper level. This two day adventure into finding true direction is a journey of discovery and involves lots of note taking and interesting exercises. It’s not about being taught technique, or creating an artwork, but how to take all you already have and make this into something that is uniquely yours, your own artistic voice. This is a workshop for all levels and genres of creativity. Early bird fee $265. Bookings are essential, $55 fee taken off the full price.
My new book Harnessing the Power of the CREATIVE SPIRAL, is now available and some of this will be incorporated into these workshops. Not a lot of materials are required, only enough to do a first afternoon drawing exercise, which is about personal mark making, and another on the second afternoon which is a mobile exercise…so you can travel relatively light to this event. As a special BONUS, attendees to the first workshop in April at North arm will receive a complimentary copy of the new book.

ABOUT THE ART WORKSHOPS
Have you ever wanted to understand the creative process at a deeper level? In early 2000, after encountering two artists, one living in British Columbia, the other in Shanghai, I was on a mission. I wanted the intellectual understanding and spirituality I experienced in their philosophy and art work to flow into my paintings and writing. Years of research lead me to write my two books, Gleaner or Gladiator : The Struggle to Create and Invisible Realities : Finding the Hidden Dimensions in Art. I am working now on my third book Harnessing the Power of the CREATIVE SPIRAL, due for publication soon.
While I initially declined workshops, wanting to savor the isolation of creating and writing in my Australian bush studio, I now share these insights with others. I offer workshops for groups at your chosen venue and in the last few years I have traveled to different regions in Australia and also to Tauranga and Rotorua in New Zealand. I plan to visit all the states in Australia so please contact me for more information.
My artworks are available in Mt Coolum on the Sunshine Coast through Neo Gallery, in Sydney with Art2Muse Gallery and Trevor Victor Harvey Gallery, in Perth at Elements Art Gallery and online or by studio visit to ArtClique Gallery.
