The hiatus between Christmas and New Year is a great time to pause and reflect on the past year and also on our dreams and aspirations for 2012. I was encouraged to put my New Years resolutions into writing by one of our local papers, and it was an interesting exercise. Because we live in such unpredictable times, with so many crazy decisions being made by those in power, I wanted to say a lot more, but in only a few paragraphs it wasn’t possible.
